I make stuff for a living, what you see me do here is my Job. I have been using tools for over 40 years and have developed a comfort level in the shop through years of experience. My goal is to educate, entertain and inspire.
From blacksmithing, leatherwork, woodworking, antique machine restoration, barn-building, fashion design, to cedar-strip canoes, I love to create. I have been making things ever since I was able to hold a hammer and likely longer than that. I grew up working around, and alongside my dad, a Long Island handyman. He put me an environment to keep experimenting and learning, so my early education involved a wide array of problem solving using all manner of tools, skills and materials… and that is my philosophy in the shop; learn all you can about anything and everything so it becomes a part of your problem solving arsenal.
In my Makers Mob learn the skills and techniques, that will increase your creative problem solving and take your confidence to the next level, so that you begin to build your dream projects.
